the well-traveled wife's guides:

<< see my TRAVEL TIPS >>
my favorite thing is to go where i've never been.
i've always loved seeing new places,
writing down favorite spots, and making little guides..
so i will post them here, along with travel tips.
my goal in life is to always have been to at least
as many countries as my age, and so far i'm on track...
24 countries down, 169 to go!

"i always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly
anywhere in the world...then i ask myself the same question."

  1. Emi organized us a tour at the Houses of Parliament in London, hassle free. Her ex-colleague (our tour guide) was very imformative and enthusiastic. We enjoyed it very much. I'm so glad I found Emi's blog containing great info on London and other destinations.

  5. dumb question but how can you afford to travel to all of these places? my husband and i are young like you and are wondering if you have any tricks. Or maybe you both have really good jobs??

    1. not a dumb question at all! it is something we've really prioritized, so we give each other trips as gifts, etc. we are also really thrifty on trips and in our day to day life so that we can save up to have adventures! this blog has helped us pay for parts of trips too, so that is lucky. here are some of our favorite budget travel tips!

  6. Hi! My sister and I are planning a month-long trip to Europe after I graduate from college next May. What are your favorite places in France (besides Paris)? I noticed your France list is very long but I was wondering which places you would say we definitely shouldn't miss?

    1. i need to put one together!! i loved bruges and will have to send you some .. and for venice!
i lived in loire valley so i'm biased, but i ADORE it-- the chateaus are to die for...bike through it, and see chenonceau for sure. bath is pretty but i would do the loire valley over it! xo
