ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

that original feeling never went away,  

& that's why i'm standing here today...
it's offically been one year since we became mr. & mrs.
we love celebrating our love, and today feels like the biggest celebration yet!
i will always love the first of june for officially making me a wife to the love of my life.
i loved that day so much and love celebrating it now!

...we are celebrating by...

 eating the top of our wedding cake,

{thanks to my mom for sending it to us!!! that must have been a pretty penny, you are the best.}

doing whatever husband has planned for us, exchanging gifts, and

then getting excited for our big 1st anniversary trip next month!!!!

it has been the best and happiest first year of marriage i could ever ask for. we moved to LA for the summer, then up the bay...moved into our darling first apartment, went to jamaica, started teach for america, lost {then found} my wedding ring, started grad school, met new friends, road tripped down the california coast, fell in love with venice beach, celebrated husband's birthday with a surprise trip, visited home a few times, explored every inch of san francisco, beached it at santa cruz and half moon bay, had lots of visitors, played tennis {and i coached it}, celebrated our engagement in the same city it happened in, had lots and lots of date nights, went apple picking, met our best friends, celebrated 6 months of marriage, took a trip to solvang, had our first married christmas, rang in 2013, had the perfect valentines day, explored seattle, celebrated every holiday, traveled to paris & rome, played in laguna beach and miami, got pad thai & froyo a million times, moved to manage apartments, made lots of good food, chase got into law school, and mostly we fell even more in love...and i mean that. 

for every anniversary, we plan on doing a big trip to celebrate.

we have it planned for next month, so for today husband has

planned everything...and i can't wait to see what we do!

life is already such an adventure together, and i can't wait for so many

more june firsts! i've loved focusing on our love all week, with these posts.
