this fireplace display was probably my favorite part of our decor..i had the vision of it in my head, and after many attempts it finally came together to be perfect!
we loved our vintage getaway car...it was parked in the driveway
during the reception & later provided the perfect exit.

{meet the maids}
we used 8 different vintage shutters throughout the yard to display things like our proposal story, our love story, our college experience, our san francisco things since we're moving there, two bridesmaid and groomsmen "meet the maids" and "meet the men" boards, and a "long line of love" board with pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding day, etc. it was fun to have such personal things all around the yard.
we love magelby's famous chocolate cake
and we were so excited to have it
as a dessert at our wedding!
it was served along with crepes,
macaroons, and wedding cake.
i am a french girl at heart and have always wanted crepes at my wedding...
so naturally they were our favorite part! our guests said they LOVED
these crepes, and luckily our caterer sent us with a few boxes of
them so we could enjoy them later!
