breakfast cookies

we couldn't think of a good name for these little treasures
we made this week...we wanted a healthy treat after
going on a run one night, so we threw these ingredients
together, and voila! the healthy cookies were created.
we decided to call them "breakfast cookies," because
they are so healthy you can eat them for breakfast! {and we did}
the recipe is below..hope you enjoy!
breakfast cookies
  • 1.5 cup oats
  • 1 cup natural applesauce
  • 2-3 ripe bananas
  • handful of craisins
  • a few shakes of cinnamon, to taste
..combine ingredients in a bowl, mix well, spray a baking sheet and scoop onto it..
bake at 350 for about 35 minutes, then enjoy a healthy treat with no flour, sugar or dairy!

  6. These are amazing! I'm one of those people who sleep until the very absolute last minute in the morning so I'm always rushing to get ready and eat breakfast. This would be perfect to make at the beginning of the week and have ready to eat on the go later!

  9. Do you mash the banana first or just chop and put them in?

    1. either way! you can mash first, or you can chop them and mash them with all other ingredients...just don't leave them chopped!
