happy tuesday, and welcome to another tuesday ten list. we are big fans of costco...i've already done a costco favorites post before here, so here's the second edition. enjoy, and please add your own favorites to it!
1. i love the kirkland natural peanut butter at costco. they have it creamy & chunky,
and it is my favorite...healthy, tastes good, and a perfect size to last for a while.
{tip...store it upside down so the natural oils mix through!}
2. veggie burgers! this was a costco sample win, because we tried these as a sample and loved them...
so we bought them on the spot. they are a good, healthy thing to have on hand in the freezer!
{cute boy not included with purchase}

3. i don't know what these garafalo whole wheat noodles have in them, but i'm addicted. they seriously have the best taste that i end up craving! they are perfect for a healthy whole wheat spaghetti, a chicken and broccoli alfredo dish, a simple butter and parmesan snack, noodle stir fry, and so much more.
4. coconut creme spread. i don't feel like
this one needs a long explanation, the name
alone made my mouth water when i saw it!

it can go on fruit, desserts, be used as
a spread, mmm the options are endless.

we love coconut if you didn't know!
5. i also love the rotisserie chicken- it is SO delicious and tender,
and you can use it all week in different recipes!
6. this size of vanilla lasts me so much longer than the little mini sizes...
so helpful because i use vanilla a lot! it has a great pure taste.
7. these multigrain tortilla chips are the best. they are healthier than regular chips,
and so good plain// with salsa// with guac// with hummus// etc.
8. this one looks random but it's a lifesaver. i use garlic in so many recipes, and after too many trips to the store just to grab fresh garlic, i just had to buy this. it is so cheap and lasts forever. i was worried i'd notice the difference between fresh garlic, but this honestly adds amazing flavor and makes it SO easy to add a little garlic here and there. just keep it in your fridge and use anytime!
9. i'm pairing these two items into one, because i always get them together. the uncooked tortillas are the bomb. you will never want to buy cooked tortillas again! they come pre-cut into tortilla shapes, but you cook them on the stove and they are hot and freshly cooked! there is a noticeable difference with these. this mexican cheese blend is also perfect for quesadillas, enchiladas, homemade mac & cheese, scrambled eggs, and so many other recipes. it lasts for a long time and is nice to have grated in the fridge to grab when you need it!
10. last but NOT least, these puppies. try one and you'll fall in love. this combines some of our favorite things...dark chocolate? coconut? almonds? too good to be true. just grab a few at a time, and have the best little treat on hand. we LOVE LOVE LOVE these.

last note:
costco rarely fails me, but it did last week with this:
we are big pad thai fans, but just a tip...don't get it from costco :)
share your favorite costco items if you have any!
xo
Mmm you're making me hungry!! We LOVE Costco! Ill have to try some of these that we haven't tried before!
ReplyDeletewe just barely got uncooked tortillas for the first time this weekend. i didn't even realize they had them uncooked. weird. anyway, they were great, i agree! yum.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than a giant jar of minced garlic. :)
ReplyDeleteok, this confirms that i need a costco card

Deletetime out. I had NO idea that they sold Morningstar in bulk. Dream come true!
ReplyDeleteI need a jug of garlic like that!!
ReplyDeleteWe use that garlic ALL the time. Costco is the best.
ReplyDeletenow all costco needs to do is get rid of that halal lamb...bring in lamb that is NOT halal and I will be very happy!
ReplyDeleteWe regularly buy most of the items you listed. The uncooked tortillas ARE the bomb. We needed tortillas once, but Costco didn't have the uncooked so we got regular Mission tortillas. Now the uncooked ones are back and I gotta go get some!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I clicked over to this post because the Costco Facebook pages share it! They know you're talkin' about 'em!
yep--the uncooked are amazing! thanks for letting us know about the costco fb page! xo
DeleteCostco has linked to this blog! Nicely done.

thanks for letting us know where all the views on this post came from today!
DeleteStuff I get at Costco without even turning on my brain: Dry dog food, Kirkland body wash, kirkland greek yogurt, kirkland coffee by Starbucks (green package), butter, frozen fruit for smoothies, Stacy's kettle corn (it has a resealable zip the is useless because you eat the whole thing in one sitting) Chicken pasta from the deli, jarred olives, canned tuna and salmon... I could go on and on!
ReplyDeletelove it- we are the same with greek yogurt, frozen fruit, and YES the kettle corn! gone in an instant! thanks for the reminders! i could fill so many posts with more and more favorites...it's a gold mine! xo
DeleteI get many of those same things from Costco! There are just some things that are a must. The tortillas for sure! Popped over from the Costco Facebook page! WTG!
ReplyDeleteyep! thanks so much for letting us know it was linked there!
DeleteDude, get the raspberry chipotle sauce if they have it at your Costco. Seriously amazing on everything. Mix it with mayo for sandwich spread, put it on meats, put it over cream cheese and eat with cracker. A-MAZ-ing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, they have 6 packs of sparking lemonade that I could drink all day long. But they didn't have it at my Costco last time I went :-(
Also: peanut butter filled pretzels.
yum, we have to try that. also- YES to the peanut butter filled pretzles. the best! so addicting.
DeleteOrganic bananas, which our store started carrying, kashi golean crunch & kirkland fat free greek yogurt.
ReplyDeletesuch great items, and so healthy! thanks for adding to the list.
DeleteLove that Costco offers a Military Membership program https://costco.sheerid.com
ReplyDeletethat is so great!
DeleteBe careful with Morning Star products!!!! We used to eat them too and Loved them, until we found out that they use Hexane (which is a toxin) to process the soy in their patties. I have contacted the company multiple times and asked when the plan to stop using this process in their products? The answer is always that it is safe...(what toxin has ever been safe?) and they have no plans to remove it. So my only way to voice my concerns and not poison my body is to REFUSE to purchase any of these items! I encourage you to do the same for your health~
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to a article that CBS did on the toxin, HEXANE.

Other then that I agree that COSTCO is the bomb when it come to shopping for healthy items for my family!!!
eeeek good to know! thanks for the info.

ReplyDeleteCostco is my favorite store. Some of the seasonals I'm hoping return this fall are the Butternut Squash pasta sauce (seriously amazing) and the Patak's curry simmer sauce. There was a type of anti pasto olive they used to carry (I think Mezzetta) twice per year and I haven't seen it in a long time - that makes me very sad.
ReplyDeleteI've tried most things on your list and agree they are awesome. Instead of the veggie burgers I get the black bean - YUM! I will have to try those coco almonds and the spread.
yes you just made my mouth water mentioning that butternut squash pasta! i love it and hope it's back for fall. black bean burgers sound even better! thanks!
DeleteWish we got these products in Australia. We love costco, but they just don't stock what the US stores stock
ReplyDeleteKirkland turkey burgers are awesome as well as the fully cooked Quick N Eat Angus burgers for a treat!
