we love visitors!!
especially when they are family.
my brother and his cute wife came to visit this weekend,
and we loved every second with them. we definitely packed it in!
here's a recap of our fun time with brady and mindy in town..
can you tell we were excited for them to come? :)
fun dinner when they arrived
french toast breakfast + green smoothies the next morning.
wish i could have breakfast with these 3 every saturday morning!
of course we first took them on a tour of chase's office at google.
exploring the world on google maps
what, your office building doesn't have a slide?
the google photo booth supplied this GIF
then, it was off to twin peaks for the best view of SF
perfect, clear day in the bay!
coit tower followed by little italy for lunch..best pizza and live music!
then we had to stop for it's-its...our FAVORITE san francisco treat!
luckily they loved them as much as we do.
then our favorite stop of all
strolling the bridge
we took them to the palace of fine arts, one of my favorite places in the city.
i don't know a cuter couple.
the golden gate never gets old to me.
love this sissy-in-law of mine! we missed you, whit, kenz and rach!
cable car museum, one of chase's favorites!
chinatown
i force every visitor to see the fortune cookie factory {they were invented in SF}
and get a chinese egg custard tart at golden gate bakery. these 2 followed orders.
we also love the boba smoothies, you can see how happy chase was to get his
pina colada boba haha- pure focus! it was a warm day in SF so we needed these!
dinner was only the best, boudin. we took it to go and ate in union square.
last but not least, we made it to a giants game.
they lost by 1, but it's always fun to be in AT&T park!
the sad morning came that they had to leave, here is brady deflating our air mattress...and of course they always leave with a cute note and gift...chase and i have a keychain collection from our travels, so mindy saw us looking at this one and she got it and surprised us with it. love it and can't wait to add it to the collection! thanks for such a fun visit, you two. we love you!
come back soon! xoxo

ReplyDeleteWe LOVED visiting the best host in the world! We saw the whole city in one day, thanks to your expertise and the Chase shuttle/parking/driving service. We love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI also love the jumping gif!!!!
You guys really know how to pack a lot into one day! Incredible!! It looks like you made a lot of good memories. :o)
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I haven't lived in the same city for over 7 years so we try to go visit each other in whatever city we happen to be living in at the time at least a couple times a year. (We both move a lot.) But the chances of her being able to make it all the way here now that we're in London are pretty slim. :o/
I love Boudin! This looks like the funnest weekend ever!
