deer valley ski vacay

leave it to my parents to plan the perfect ski vacay 

for us right after christmas. we stayed in the nicest

house right on the resort, so we could ski in and out

all day! there's nothing better than being with family,

especially since we live away and so time with everyone

is precious. we lucked out with perfect, bluebird sunny

ski days, a hot tub on the deck at night, amazing meals,

the cozy fire, fun games, and time together. this trip

was especially memorable and special because of some

changes coming up, but more on that later.

after having some fun in park city {my hometown}

on the way up the first day, we headed

up to our deer valley house for our stay.

deer valley's famous turkey chili is what we most

look forward to..you can tell how much my dad loves it.

after skiing, my dad made his famous

homemade pizzas on the barbecue.

mouth-watering!! better than a restaurant.

we also put the hot tub to good use,

but my mom failed to take a good picture--haha

this one made us laugh so i had to share.

lots of games happened of course,

reverse charades was the highlight.

i died at all of these pictures!
