apple farm inn

this weekend i think i discovered a new tradition for us of
coming to stay here in san luis obispo each november to kick
off the holidays. why? a) it's perfect weather b) it's relaxing
c) i've never seen more holiday spirit than at this darling
apple farm inn where we stayed. just TRY not to smile
and feel some christmas cheer while you scroll below!
i hope to take our future family back here one day...
and return with these friends who introduced us to SLO!
the apple farm inn is already charming from the second
you hear the name. from the apple cider in the lobby
to the apple soap in the bathrooms, everything is themed
around apples and it's amazing. add in the christmas
decorations to that and it is just a happy place to be!
hot apple dumplings, ice cold cider, fresh baked cookies
given to you on arrival ... i think i like this place. ^^
sparkling apple martinelli drinks in the room, +
apple butter in the shop...one of my favorite fall spreads.
hello, darling christmas-y lobby!
^^ these are the stairs you take up to the rooms.
i know it's still early november, but this place fully
embraces the holidays and you can't be mad about it!
there are a variety of different room styles depending
on your budget / preference, making this a great place
to stay for all! the rooms feel so comfortable and the
hallways have big chests full of clean sheets and towels...
it's those little touches that make it feel so home-y!
the gift shop is adorable and we just might have found a few
christmas gifts for loved ones here. i love finding good
gifts in special places...they are even more fun to give
when you find the perfect gift with a memory attached.
we happened to be there during the holiday open house
weekend, which is why everything was in full swing.
it was fun to see lots of families there for it! ^^
we couldn't resist the cheesy photo opp in this carriage at
the entrance of the inn...they also offer horse-drawn
carriage rides from the apple farm around town.
^^ strolled around the old apple cider mill in
the morning, and had to have some after.
the inn also has an attached restaurant and bakery with
yummy food and treats. we loved our hearty breakfast!
this little inn felt like a visit to a loved one's home.
it is so charming and comfortable! we will definitely
remember this stay and now we're in the holiday spirit
despite the 90 degree weather we had while in SLO!

thank you to the apple farm inn for welcoming WTW.
all opinions are always our own.

  3. OMG, how adorable is that place? Have you ever checked out Apple Hill (on the way up to Tahoe from HWY 50?) It's sorta like this place but a whole area of orchards and farms like this one. It might be late in the season for them since it's getting colder, but some of the apple farms turn into christmas tree farms and still sell all of their products.

  6. This venue would be great for a wedding or baby shower and even an adult birthday party. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would consider these Wedding venues for my next event.
