biking and breakfast

over the weekend we thought it was
high time to take our bikes out to
breakfast. we've had some busy weekends
and lots more coming up, so we soaked
in this leisurely little ride down to o'farrell
street to have bio cafe's famous, healthy,
gourmet food. we love the owner sylvie..
we just ate at her new sausalito restaurant
last month which you can see here...she
makes not only incredibly delicious food,
it's also incredibly beautiful and healthy.
what more can you ask for? this cafe in
the city is tiny and right off union square,
so it's great for any visitors staying downtown
or for a quick brunch // lunch stop during
the week. the sausalito location is slower-
paced with a lot more space, but this original
cafe fits the neighborhood right in the bustling
city and we will be back since it's so close!

it's just a short little ride down the hill...
(the hard work came after when
we went back up those hills :)
^^ this is just blended strawberries and water.
that's it. it's sweet & tangy & amazing.
brioche french toast with
fresh strawberries. yes, it
was as good as it looks.
along with french toast we tried the
quinoa oatmeal and the famous
homemade yogurt. sylvie makes
it herself every day, and i promise
it's the best yogurt you'll ever have.
it has rose water in it, for pete's sake!
^^ don't mind me, i'm trying to reach a spoon
through my computer screen right now to eat this. :)
after fueling ourselves up with
this great food, we were off
to  finish our bike ride loop!
no better views than in this city!
nothing like a foggy weekend morning
filled with bikes & breakfast & my boy.
