when we did our travel show last month in cannon beach, we flew in and out of portland.
due to some delayed flights we got some extra time to play with our bff's in portland on our last day before flying back to california. i could really live with all that rain, but maybe not all of the hipster-ness. it is a pretty city though, and we loved spending a second there together. traveling with friends is a bonus, especially these friends. after a week of being filmed and photographed constantly by the show, we were not very into our cameras while exploring portland but i did snap a few pictures. the highlights of portland this time were:
- the waterfront
- pioneer square
- niketown
- powell's books
- voodoo doughnuts
next time we need to try: - steamed clams at jake's
- rimsky's coffee house for dessert + live music
- the the famous oregon yumm sauce
- shop more because there is no sales tax!

Portland looks amazing, I've always wanted to visit there.
