biking boston

biking boston is one of the best ways to see the city.
after lots of adventuring on cape cod and nantucket,
we came back to boston for another day of sightseeing.
we rented from back bay bicycles and it was such a fun
day pedaling around the city with my honey! after a
weekend of beach cruisers on cape cod, these road
bikes were so speedy and fun to fly through the city on.
it was a perfect day in the city, and this bike shop
is perfectly located in the back bay neighborhood.
i couldn't stop staring at the pretty brownstones!

biking down the mall to the boston common ^^

public garden & swan boats.

make way for ducklings!

cheering at cheers

circled back through the public gardens a few times

refueling with saus waffles

^^ and had to make a stop at 2 of our favorite
east coast places, miss these both from DC!!

thanks to back bay bicycles for the great day!
they are the best location in the most charming
part of boston with all different bike options.

these bikes were great to see all the sights that
we didn't hit on our first day in boston,
and we also biked the freedom trail which is
coming in a separate post. we love this city!

  7. I've never been to Boston, but it looks like quite the city, very picturesque! Those brownstones, I'd live in one any day! They look like homes with lots of character :)
