weekends with friends

here's to the start of another weekend!

weekends are the best, even though they go too fast.

we love spending our weekends with friends... and today i'm

especially excited because one of my very best friends is

flying here in just a few hours for a visit! it will be so 

good to have a friend from home up here. i can't wait!

last weekend, we spent time with some of our favorite friends 

here in the bay. this included watching some football, discussing politics, 

exploring the tech museum, making treats, and having a fun dinner downtown!

chase's burger had hawaiian sweet bread as the bun...yes, it was amazing!

fun with the crazy face transformers at the museum.

the silicon valley tech museum really is amazing..because it's tech,

and it's silicon valley. best of the best! we loved having a double date night here.

dustin definitely won the award for scariest ride design!

 

this googlemaps station was probably our favorite. you can go anywhere in the world and see the street view on the giant screen. it looks like you're flying! we went all through SF, and then chase & i showed our friends where we're from in salt lake city..we loved showing them our houses & the pretty mountains..maybe now they'll come and visit sometime! 

 

more museum fun included: a fake senate speech, a jet pack simulator, 

(not as cool as it sounds...) submarine, and more. total nerds!

 

chase and dustin loved competing at each station to build the best contraptions.

 

and of course.. a weekend isn't complete without yummy treats!

we love our friends and can't wait for this weekend!
