the cliff house

led to one of the best, most
iconic restaurants in the city ::
the cliff house. this meal
was so perfect to celebrate
our 2nd anniversary.
^^ the final clue waiting on our table
^^ definitely the cutest anniversary
date i've ever laid eyes on!

duo of corn soup appetizer,
so perfect for the foggy night!

^^ grilled asparagus + dungeness crab
cake appetizers...
both done to perfection.
^^ and the classic bacon crusted salmon.
it's the one thing that has never changed
on the menu, and it's as good as it looks.
i could probably have salmon every night.
^^ chase's meal was the dry aged new york steak,
so so good and of course their famous
popovers stuffed with asparagus.

^^ perched right on the edge of the sea!
^^ gift time! we got each other a fun trip,
then i gave chase these new shoes + a shirt.

^^ and, some new marc jacobs perfume.
that man has some good taste.

^^JAMES TAYLOR tickets! absolute FAVORITE.

^^ and, no special occasion is complete
without chocolate soufflé. happy happy girl.
^^ what a view! so cozy and beautiful.
^^ we love sutro's at the cliff house.
it makes any occasion feel really
special, and we highly recommend it.
happy anniversary, dear!
here's to many more.

    1. thanks darling! YES-- so glad you are excited to try it out! it's so great, for sutro's make sure you get a reservation! if you eat upstairs in the bistro you don't need one but there can be long wait times so just check ahead of time. XO
